Franchisor provides 172-page Operating Manual (confidential, franchisor property, subject to modification). Franchisee must purchase and use Square POS terminal (estimated cost $500-$1,500). Franchisee must maintain/repair/upgrade/update computer system with estimated annual maintenance/support costs of $10,000-$20,000. Franchisee must use computer system to maintain customer information, prepare proposals/invoices, transmit payments, maintain financial records, access internet, and communicate via email. Franchisor has unrestricted access to all information generated/stored on franchisee's computer system upon request, including database backups.
