TAP INTO LOCAL LLC offers franchises for the operation of Town franchises that publish free local online news sites containing news and articles of local interest and sell advertising for the news site.

Franchisee must use iPad or other approved laptop computer with sufficient capacity to interface with franchisor's website, operate online news site, and compile customer information. No specific electronic cash register or computer system required. Franchisor provides proprietary software at no cost. Estimated annual cost for optional/required maintenance, updating, upgrading or support contracts: $0 to $500. Franchisee must update computer hardware and software at own cost as directed by franchisor (memory, disk space, network operating systems, internet service providers, file servers, hardware). High-speed internet connection required. Franchisor has direct independent access to franchisee's uploaded data and modem access to computer hard drive data with no contractual limitations on access frequency or cost of updates.
